Peninsula, Train to Busan Sequel, Lands Its Second Action-Filled Trailer
The awkwardly titled Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula has just received a second trailer, and IT is almost exclusively full of action and, of course, zombies. The sequel comes from the same director every bit the original, Yeon Sang-ho, just features a cast of characters of new characters, including Jeong-seok (Gang Ding-won), who is sent on a retrieval mission only becomes trapped in Korea (a peninsula), which was abandoned after the outbreak seen in Train to Busan.
Judging from this trailer, it looks like this will be the Aliens toTrain to Busan'sDisaffect. The primary film was a tightly-knit snake god thriller that took place in an cavity and focused happening fiber and theme. This second motion-picture show looks like an all-out action-fest with massive amounts of zombies, explosions, and motorcar chases. The characters also seem a little more cliche, but one of the things the first cinema did well was taking tropes and delivering nuance with them. Hopefully, Yeon can pull off the transition, as going bigger does not always mean getting better.
The movie was set to premiere at Cannes this year only the festival was canceled, so now IT is a selection of the realistic Cannes result. With theaters reopened in Korea, the movie should release there sometime in July. Its global free dates are still uncertain Eastern Samoa cinemas reopen slowly or so the world and distribution rights in countries are held by different companies.
